Mug Sequence

we will now precede to entangle the entire area...” I’m always singing that CSNY song to myself, “Almost Cut My Hair.” More than that I had wanted to do this sequence of shavings for a while. Not just in the past weeks when the itch was too constant, but for like 15yrs! I did a series of 4 film images back then, but this current version was more what I had in mind, though it still is lacking.

It is a hard project for one person, at least for me. I normally shave regularly and have no clue how to really trim a beard! That might be obvious from these pics. Time wise, it took about 4-5 hours to get clean shaven this way. Trust in knowing I would like to have fun doing this again, and if/when I do so, I will have a barber of some sort, and maybe a few costumes as well.

The thing is it takes like 4 months for me to grow any kind of substantial beard if you can call it that. In reality it looks more like pubic hair. It has always been that way. Four months is really only the recent record of growth time, when I was younger it would have been more like 6-8 months to get that length. And it grows in so unevenly. By contrast my two brothers by age 17 were shaving regularly, and within a week of not shaving would have more than your rudimentary beard.

I just see that as me being more humanly evolved than them; oh yea, they’re animals.

I suppose my only real question is, “what costumes to go with what “look?” Any comments comparing the final shots to Ozzie Osbourne or some Yogi, well, lets just say they have already been made.

Yea, That Was Me.
No I’m not having an identity crises.
I can see how it might beg the question, ‘can you see the real me?’
eh, these are some mediocre shots…
yes, but notice the extensive forehead
