I hear John McCain Say he is a friend of small business, that is why in all his years of service he has taken pack money from the Big Box corporations, and hangs with the lobbyists. He says the small business creates jobs… that he is now attentive to jobs shipped over seas, because of taxes… how he is concerned that the small business owner will pay more taxes. But how did McCain vote for the current high taxes the small business owner pays? (needs fact check?)

I believe McCain’s rheoric is all political expediency, what McCain has to say. as he slips in the polls. But what he means is he sees the small business voter shipping out to Camp Democrat. For us, that is a good thing. If McCain was so concerned about jobs he needs to learn a phrase, “The Middle Class.”

But McCain Doesn’t really want to discuss the Economic Classes in The United States of America, because he is ashamed of all he doesn’t know about some subjects. So McCain rails on about Barack Obama’s Elitism. It is a passive aggressive reaction. Or in a way John McCain might understand, he is not telegraphing his shame and fear.

Instead McCain will stubbornly make his case in way that will let him retreat/survive in the end. This is what McCain is trained in. He used it to survive in Vietnam, when he lied to his captors telling them the names of the Green Bay Packers offensive line. But we are not John McCain’s captors, or are we? Unless McCain would rather be doing something else at his age? Is it right for us to ask so much of an individual who has attempted to give so much in service of our country? Those are the benefits of my doubts.

It should not surprise anyone, McCain’s self destruction may be the first good thing John McCain has done for himself since he was a teen ager. Everything else has been to satisfy parental, and grand-parental expectation. Country First, if it were a real concern of McCain’s beyond a poster slogan would require self vetting, recuse if necessary, both himself and Palin.

I didn’t even want to bring up Palin., but how can I not? Before the RN-Convention I think Palin took the phrase “Presumptive Nominee” to heart. Her willful ignorance of the U.S. Constitution is reprehensible. But it is not the kind of ignorance born simply out of not knowing, it crafted with a blatant disregard for the rule of law, by bastardizing the spirit of the laws we live by. In her view she can legislate from an executive position, unilaterally.

This is not just a Palin message, it is the Neo-Con way under the guise of the Religious Right. This is the future of the Republican party we are seeing, escalating it’s serial pathology toward it’s ultimately Fascist ends. By, under the guise of the Religious Right, I mean quite literally that the supposed moral base is corrupted; the claims of family values, conservative social norms to be maintained (based on some religious precept) are a deliberate mis-direction for the controlling interests delivering the message. This mis-direction is a classic Confidence Fraud, a con game; this one is aptly called The Neo-Con! By controlling interests, I mean: FOLLOW THE MONEY!

John McCain, might have been taken advantage of in the Keating Five scandal, or found not to have committed a crime himself, (funny how Palin can make a similar claim too, even though she was found to have abused her power,) but that should begin to show you McCain’s participation in reckless behavior and poor judgment. Every Con needs a willing dupe, consciously or unconsciously. That erratic modality of thought, is based on allowing yourself to be positioned, and it is hardly maverick. Some risks are worth it, when no one is harmed, but that takes willing consent of ALL participants, or at least a true majority. There has been no consensus when it comes the purpose of our market economy, it has only been a few people and many soulless corporations that have actually prospered.

We see how that money has bought a kind of power that isolates us generally, both at home and abroad. We live as citizens of United States under the Illusion that we are respected for our freedom, and self determination. The irony of this illusion is the majority population of this democracy are slaves to our vanishing jobs, and caught up the pointless distraction of social ideologies and allegiances in support of a bottom line that is not designed to benefit US in the first place.

A question I have raised to myself and a few friends since I was a teen is, “Why is it that qualified people, smart people, are the minority in our Bureaucracies?” Sure that raises the specter of Elitism, and the as yet undetermined answer to the question of what is intelligence. A global question, indeed. As well, the basic question is born of a frustration at the disconnect between the actions we see bureaucracy take and our personal needs, which are a representation of quantification. We have been virtualized, striped of actuality, reduced to a tracking number inside a demographic statistical representation of our constituent needs.

We have actual needs, but we share some of those with our neighbor too, so why double up on the data? Because Every Vote Counts in a democracy! Now to answer the inevitable argument that the question raises, there are Smart people in government, some so smart they think they can make rules that only benefit a minority, or interpret rules breaking the spirit of the law. In breaking the spirit of the law they break our trust and that is the disconnect. But still there are good people in government, nice people, folks you might want to hang out with, have a drink, but you don’t want them to service you or your neighbor because they are missing or disconnected seeing you as an actuality. To be honest, I got tired of drinking with folks that disconnect, and I personally don’t.

We are faced with a host of GLOBAL issues and “Change” is not for changes’ sake, least we invoke the the French adage “Plus ça change, Plus c’est la meme chose,” The more that things change, The more they stay the same. McCain’s attempt to claim the moniker of “change agent” as though it were up to him to determine what change should mean for the rest of us, is part and partial to the pathology of the Neo-Con, we are the sheep / the easy MARK, in need of being lead to a conclusion. Instead, what we have in Barack Obama is a leader that listens to our actual needs, instead of telling us what they should be as McCain/Palin do.

Given the global financial crisis, achieving any substantive change will require the willing participatory voices, not of a chorus, but of a choir. In other words we need to learn more than talking points. It is not as though, change alone will happen once “Obama/Biden” win. I would not only caution against complacency in the last days of the election race, but complacency even after when there is a transition of power. We as Americans and the Children of Freedom around the world who look to the future with HOPE; we have a say in what our lives might become with one another, in peace and prosperity, enjoying and caring for, the fruits of the Earth, and each other. This change we are fighting for is against the soulless, meaningless bottom line that benefits a chosen few over the many! The battle only begins when we VOTE!

In this world economic crisis, listen for entrenched values; are folks really saying there is a financial cost? Greed dictates that others pay first, or absolutely. Greed. A few people have gambled with our collective future. Without vigilance, we cannot use our freedom to consent or decline. We, the world, are facing a hard time because of the greed of a few, and the rest of us are left to clean up. But it is our mess too, for too long we have turned a blind eye to greed, the rationalization of inflation and market manipulations, by the few, gambling. We have seen the failures of all unchecked economic models. The model is just another part of soullessly virtualizing the human experience. In real time we can’t play with models we play with the real things. But it is not play it is deadly serious, or is it?

Let’s foreclose on the World! Let’s evict our self. What is going to happen? Where are the resources? WE ARE THE RESOURCES. We Make More. We make better. Only, with the sanction of the overlords? What happened to the Consumer? Who ate all the credits and the debts? Now the IMF says there is not enough money in the world to cover the world debts. But… we made up the money game, collectively as a species. Did we forget it was a game? OK, maybe “game” is a little loose; a mental exercise, or an analogy, a model, an assumption of the average. OK, money was a good guess. The solution to this deep crisis requires us to think differently, and not do the same things expecting different results.

In the old days when money was invented, power was centralized, and ownership was controlled by brute force. Oh, wait, not much has changed. What has changed though is our ability to track and communicate greater quantities of details. Real world information, not just averages or the partial truths that leave out the significant details of responsibility. Here is an opportunity for transparency. Still we can fail each other, even with all the advantages of the modern world. In the future we will see a reference to Katrina along side, some term invented to describe this kind of failure, (maybe crossing Atrocity and Fiasco.)

Somehow we will overcome the deficit of our failings. Maybe we have had it wrong thinking leadership comes from the top down, in an authoritarian fashion. We know our eyes actually see things upside down, but our mind processes it, well, fixed. Democracy says the influence of government is by the collective will of the people. That is far different than what we have in practice. This campaign is not changing the rules, It has been following them. As we redistribute the influence on leadership, all we have to do is show up, and cast our vote of approval or disapproval every day.

May The Soul Of the Universe Bless The Universe, This Good Earth, All Her People, and The United States Of America.
